John Campbell
Founder - Trial Expert / Consultant

John is an accomplished trial and appellate attorney. He has appeared or practiced before the Missouri Supreme Court, the Missouri Court of Appeals, the Illinois Court of Appeals, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Supreme Court and dozens of trial courts around the country.

John’s career is a balance of business success and a commitment to the public good. Two cases exemplify this combination. In 2012, John volunteered time on the initiative to stop high interest loans in Missouri, ultimately arguing before the Missouri Supreme Court on behalf of almost 200,000 Missouri citizens. John’s time was entirely donated, and the case resulted in an important decision regarding a citizen’s right to pursue a ballot initiative. But, John has also handled high-profile claims that have led to substantial recoveries. For example, John was the lead trial attorney and appellate attorney in a case against Q.C. Financial, the largest payday lender in Missouri. The case resulted in a trial, an appeal, and an additional proceeding in class arbitration. The result was a $25 million settlement that provided relief to over 100,000 Missouri citizens.

In the legal community, John is known as a tenacious but professional attorney. He enjoys the David v. Goliath struggle. He has handled cases against some of the biggest companies and biggest law firms in the world.

Finally, John seeks to improve the law through scholarship and training the next generation of lawyers. He does this through his work as a Professor at the University of Denver.
